The Mountains/Lethe Hall

Woe betide the traveller who was taking the opportunity of good weather to take the mountain road. The thunder up here is deafening, and the lightning seems drawn to the mountaintops. Worse, if you try to carry on along the road out of Lethevale, you will find that the Lethe has burst its banks and taken the mountain bridge with it.

You could try to take shelter in the caves and old mineshafts, but beware - there's plenty of wildlife that's had the same idea, and the last thing you want is to get in a fight with a mountain bear.

The brightest lights visible are those of the town below, and, closer, Lethe Hall. You could always seek shelter there. What's the worst that could happen?

NPCs available: Louis Monteau, the Melmoth family.
